You shouldn't need any alternative settings.

I just have 1 APN set up for three and it works on 3G and GPRS/EDGE.

Off topic, I wonder if anyone is able to download Three Skype software and have it working on the orange ZTE blade phone?

Thanks.

I'd like to know that as well, since I use the 3UK Skype app everyday.

I currently have a Hero, but I'm seriously thinking of getting a Blade

According to the APN list made by cyanogen 3 in UK has the following settings:

3

apn="three.co.uk"

mmsc="http://mms.um.three.co.uk:10021/mmsc"

mmsproxy="mms.three.co.uk"

mmsport="8799"

mcc="234"

mnc="20"

Hope it helps :lol:

I have put in these settings, it connects as it now shows a 3G+ icon which it didn't before, but when trying to send an MMS it comes up with an error....

I think it needs two APN entries. The first one will cover regular internet and the second should cover mms. Try making an additional APN with exactly the same settings but scroll down to the bottom of the APN setting and set the second 'APN type' as mms.

Let me know if this works for you.

Brilliant works here to. Do you know what the connection cost is to the number it dials, also it wont connect over wifi

I believe the number it calls is free, it says it only works on 3g when you turn it on.

I can confirm that the application makes a free call to a 3 server.

I've been using it (on various phones) for a couple of years now - it's never cost me a penny!
