Why in newer ROMs Wi-Fi disconnects when device goes to sleep mode?

Hi, guys, in the past I've been using PAHHC ROM and the Wi-Fi behaved this way: When I change the checkbox "Wi-Fi Power Save", the Wi-Fi module is being reinitialized and switched on and of with blinking of the green light on top. When "Wi-Fi Power Save" was disabled, the Wi-Fi connection was not disconnected by device stand by mode. When "Wi-Fi Power Save" was enabled, the Wi-Fi was disconnected by device stand-by mode.

Now, I'm using DXID1 and Wi-Fi is always being disconnected by device stand-by mode. And the "Wi-Fi Power Save" setting doesn't seem to make any difference. Why is that?

install advanced config or pockettoolman, both give you the option to enable wifi in sleep mode :lol:
