Alarm Clock Issue

Hello all, first of my phone aint rooted as i can't figure out how to do it B) Anyway if i set my alarm clock to go off in 5 mins or for the morning it won't wake from sleep mode or when completly turned of. my screen has to be constantly on for it to work, is that the same with everyone elses, can someone test to see, as it's not any use for waking me in the morning. i've tried fiddling with the alarm settings but just can't sort it. if it works for you can you post the settings for me to copy. :lol:

I was facing the same issues... so I bought Gentle Alarm.

It is working ok now.

Good job I'll be keeping my Pulse.. it can be my satnav, music player AND alarm clock. :lol:

I decided to do a Factory data reset of the phone and the alarm is working again, alarm only works from sleep mode, not when it is turned of.

I don't think any android device is able to use alarm when turned off.

Ignore my last post about about it working after a Factory data reset, it didn't go off for me this morning again, seems it will only work if it set for a few mins or so but won't go of if it has been set for a few hours :lol:

My alarm didnt go off this morning so had a bit of a look online. The last thing I did on the phone last night was 'Kill all' in Task Manager. No alarm this morning.

Set test alarms and they went off OK. Set a test alarm for 5 minutes time and then killed the Alarm in Task Manager - no alarm.

Could be I'm getting the wrong end of the stick but make sure your alarm is active on Task manager.

Was thinking myself today that might have been the problem, so will stop the kill process on my alarm and see if it works in the morning, also downloaded Gentle Alarm and really like the look of that better, and with that you can set a few alarms to go of at certain times of the day, which is handy for me because i need to take tablets twice a day :lol: only got the trail for now so that don't go of on Wednesdays B)

I can confirm that task killing was switching it of, took the tick of auto kill alarm clock last night and the alarm went of this morning, will be sticking with Gentle Alarm anyway, just thought i'd let you all know what the problem was.
