Software Upgrade for Phone

Last night I flashed my phone to 2.1 (working flawlessly so far). Anyways I got into work not too long ago, LG PC Suite IV opens like normal. And I see a message about an update for my phone?

Has anyone else seen this message and does anyone know if this is some sort of v2.1.1 or or even a forceful downgrade?

Any suggestions Idea's appreciated. I'll try the "update" when I get home and report my findings.

I think its because it must see that we are using version 2.1 from the Baltics, but we are in the UK maybe?

Certainly, if and when the official UK 2.1 update arrives, if I can, I will update to it :lol:

It's the same for all the updates..they say there is an update, but when it checks your phone, there won't be one for your phone.

This isn't the first post about someone seeing an update, but not getting it, as they are up to date.

All that says is theres an update for GT540, but when it checks your software version, phone info, etc, you will be up to date.

Also, as past history shows with this phone, even with before for example, 10A for O2 was out, when 10C appeared, it was still showing as up to date...

Notice how the screen says "No phone connected"!!!

One offtopic question, how do you turn the phone to PC suite mode?

Lol dont worry, when I first got my Optimus it took me a couple of days to figure that out :lol: B)
