Guest simple_max Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 (edited) Hi everybody. Sorry for my bad english,I'm russian. So I think we can make 3.5 jack's voltage higher and it will give us louder sound. Is it real? =) Or in Xian rom the voltage is higher than is Acer rom? Edited September 29, 2010 by simple_max
Guest Umka Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Do not know how other guys feel, but for me Xian/Koud v1 ROM sound is pretty loud as it is. if the voltage of 3.5 is controlled by the firmware, than it should be possible to increase, but I am afraid this will cause loss in sound quality.

In LCR too, sound is louder but that is not done changing voltage (could damage hardware) but by changind frequencies (after the fourrier transform it produces higer waves). A change is also applied in kernel Edited September 30, 2010 by malez
