Guest Whiler92 Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Thank you for the question(I had the same) and answer(I was scared about this and waited for it)!
Guest redroom Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Any idea what the update is?
Guest Asselberghs Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Probably a carrier recognizing some fundamental Desire rom stuff in the MCR. Don´t update anything OTA when your rooted or running MCR or other costum roms. Update manually via MoDaCo if you need the newest MCR release. Don´t ever expect, this is my presumption at least, MCR to be able to update OTA.

Guest Elbereth Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 I guess he will have to wait for R9 final then. B) ... or get an Ad Free or more subscription.

Guest redroom Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Won't be possible at the moment, the user is not an Adfree/Premium member, no kitchen access. Are you people talking about gmail 2.3 or something else?
Guest Scream Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 no it's the update to improve the keyboard i believe, god knows it needs it. i've also wondered if it would be ok to install.
Guest Elbereth Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Well in any case don't update OTA. If it succeed you will have lost root.
