Guest steviem Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Has Orange taken the Google Talk app out? If they have, that's pretty annoying!
Guest Paul Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 They have. Flash MCR to get it back. P
Guest steviem Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Woo, just flashed MCR to it - much nicer! Just needed to look for how to get ubuntu to recognise the phone because Windows XP has been crap as always and wouldn't let it work. So far this phone is actually really, really brilliant!
Guest The Soup Thief Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Can anyone direct me to any good pointers around VOIP on Android. I see Skype's not available at the mo. I've heard mixed reports of Fring and Nimbuzz. Anyone got any experience with these services on Android (or better yet on the San Francisco specifically) Otherwise, can anyone reccommend an app to allow the phone to be used as a wifi handset for Skype running on a PC? Thanks

Thanks Just been playing with. Fring - seems pretty cool - only problem w Fring on Android is no video calling, but given that there's no front facing camera on this phone, Fring seems ideal, I reckon
