Guest fluxcapacitor Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Can't see any mention of this online, whereabouts would you sign up for this instore? Also what is the ' unlimited' web really?
Guest sensory Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 (edited) I've asked o2 to send me one of their free sims (on their website) with which you get 500mb internet usage and unlimited texts when you top up with £10. It takes a couple of weeks for the SIM to arrive, but I've used O2 on payg for a year now on their £10/unlimited texts deal, and they're great. Edited September 30, 2010 by sensory
Guest legolamb Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 (edited) Also what is the ' unlimited' web really? 500mb You need to go to a Tesco with a phone store or ring 0800 433 4990 before 10/10/10 as op said Edited September 30, 2010 by legolamb
Guest oh!dougal Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 I now have the tesco £10 per month sim only on a rolling one month contract with 500 minutes unlimited texts and unlimited (500MB fair usage) internet. ... If anyone spots a better deal can you let me know? ... Its a special offer on their £15/month sim-only tarrif. But it *now* and its £10/month as long as you want it. Nicely you can leave on no more than a month's notice. As stated "unlimited" internet means 500mb/month. And it gets REALLY punitively expensive beyond that. Is there a better deal right now? Try ringing T-Mobile and say you've heard they are offering a deal to compete with Tesco's ... (Same price, bigger allowances, but a 12 month contract, and likely more expensive after the initial 12 months.)
Guest legolamb Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 If anyone spots a better deal can you let me know? Regards to all Billyhl. Who you with now? give them a ring, I rang virgin for my pac code for the Tesco sim and ended up staying with 800mins 3000txt and 1gb internet for £12 30 day rolling contract
Guest keencyclist Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Three do a good deal which is £15 a month and you get 500mins, 5000texts and 1gb of internet use. This is on a 24 month contract with a refurbished Samsung Portal, but they are like new- you can then sell the samsung and put it towards the rental.
Guest lilim_ac Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 I want to buy San Fransisco but I haven't found out anyone outside UK mention about it here.. Can someone tell me how to buy this? don't give me the link with 160 pounds (one of the link in ebay excluding shipping) as it is really overprice.. Thanks

Thanks Phones(or other expensive gifts) sent to India usually get lost in the post, so it is a very risky proposition. I would recommend that you buy it locally (grey market)
Guest Dr Who Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Any of these deals include use for tethering?
Guest JohnPorter Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Just to make you aware, Tecso Mobile uses the Vodafone Network! Well did last time I looked at Tesco.
Guest Nik Louch Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Just to make you aware, Tecso Mobile uses the Vodafone Network! Well did last time I looked at Tesco. I always believed it was O2
Guest browney Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 I always believed it was O2 Yeah I was under that assumption. I've got my phone coming on Monday, I've currently got a wildfire which I love since it's small, I did have plans to give the blade to my partner. Spec wise the blade is slightly better and it can be unlocked really cheap and can be rooted witch is a plus.
Guest billyhl Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Thats funny because you can use tesco sims in O2 phones???? Which would lead me to believe that they use the O2 network. I believe Asda use the Vodafone network. But someone could correct me if i am wrong (But I Seriously Doubt It as a quick google will prove). Regards to all Billyhl
Guest dav_dako Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) Billyhl is correct, Tesco use O2 and Asda use Voda. There are 2 annoyances about tesco: firstly the data limit is a cap - if you go over the 500mb you get charged £4 per Meg and secondly, you don't get sms delivery reports unless you type *0# at the start of a message. Guest neologan Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) I went with GiffGaff, check them out. Plus, if you get your sim card via a current GG user, both you and that user get £5 of free credit when you join up. It really can't be beaten right now (but i admit, the tesco deal is pretty damn good, bar the 500mb data limit). No contract, 4p min text, 8p calls, unlimited free internet until at least Dec, and monthly goody bag options, with the £10 one giving you unlimited texts and internet, and 150 minutes. Right now the internet access outside of a goodybag is free (until dec sometime). Oh, and as long as you top up once every three months, calls and texts to other giff gaff users are totally free. If anyone wants me to send them a sim card, just PM me with your name and address plus email addy and I'll get one sent to you (comes direct from GiffGaff and i got mine within two days). Not try to push this aspect, just offering! Worth a look i think: http://giffgaff.com/index/offer Edited October 1, 2010 by neologan
Guest Kuteguy Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Any of these deals include use for tethering? as far as I know the deal I just got with t-mobile - 600 mins, 500 text, unlimited internet + another unlimited bolt-on for £10/month on a 12 month contract allows you to do ANYTHING with yout allowance - tethering, streaming, etc
