Guest nitko Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 After using FLB 1.0 with hungarian update for few months I wanted to move to 1.7 with UK update and clockworkmod. Now I did the UK 2.1 update and installed clockworkmod and am now stuck - clockworkmod CANT partition SD card?!?!?! I'm pretty much stuck now, I need to repartiotion card for swap and ext. I have tried to do it via adb shell and parted but UK rom is not rooted and I dont have parted. AMONRA was so much better (((
Guest anegin Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 (edited) To partition SD with clockwork recovery use ROM Manager. But you still need root (installing it is very simple) Edited September 30, 2010 by anegin
Guest AntonioPT Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 If you really like amon ra so much, just install it again.
Guest AntonioPT Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 (edited) Sorry, double post, nothing to see here  Edited September 30, 2010 by AntonioPT
Guest nitko Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Heh i did install amonra just to partition sd card  now i am back to clockworkmod - new is better, right?
Guest Letterbox115 Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 I can't see why ClockWork is better than AmonRA. AmonRA does everything that ClockWork does, AND it partitions your SD-card, so why use ClockWork? AmonRA <3

And if you like RomManager you need Clockwork. Sh4d0w940

Guest alex.tvr Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 To partition SD with clockwork recovery use ROM Manager. But you still need root (installing it is very simple) How - I'm trying to follow the Ultimate guide, but that doesn't tell you how to use ROM Manager to set partions. I can't install amon recovery either at the moment

Guest alex.tvr Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 The apeThe app requires internet connection to download clockwork recovery image Excellent, thanks - problem is I'm now stuck in a boot loop - all because I brought a new class 6 SD card  so I could use all the latest settings
Guest thisweb Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 Does paid rom manager support pulse roms ? Clockwork needs partitioning as when rom breaks as it usually does when testing have to reinstall amonra again - i have to do this regularly. Tom manager is excellent though
Guest MaToNeo Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 SD partitioning initiated in ROM Manager still runs in CM recovery thus this feature is here but it is hidden for some strange reason.
