Request for at bootanimation tuturial

Hey, after succesfully changing my HBOOT to the S=OFF version, i would really like to change my bootanimation.

I have an idea to what i want, i also have the background picture, but i need some help/guidance on how to make all the animations.

Can anyone guide me to a tuturial on how to make the animation part of the bootanimation.

I have tried searching Google, but either im writing the wrong words in the search box or then there just aren't any tuturial on this??

Have you actually taken a look at the original stock or modaco bootanimation yet?

It is located in /system/customize/resource

Downloading this to your computer will give you a zip file. I have looked at the zip yet, but not taken any steps to creating a animation because for now I lack ideas.

Things I noticed: the zip is not compressed, but rather just "stored".

There is a desc file that reads "480 800 15 p 1 1 android" and a folder called android containing 78 single, full frame picture items. This all is very much in line with this tutorial:

If you want to play it safe and sound you just take your fav image manipulator, find out the exact format and color depth of the supplied PNG, change those to reflect your imagination and save them in the exact same format, with the same number of frames. Then you zip this thing up using the "store" function of winrar or winzip and upload it back.

If you want to be adventurous and increase the fps, number of pics, etc follow the guide.

Please note, no first hands experience yet here for me, due to time constraints. But I do not see any reason why this older tutorial should NOT be applicable to the Desire.
