According to a comment here (http://www.appbrain.com/app/angry-birds-lite-beta/com.rovio.angrybirds_lite) you can download it elsewhere but if you don't have 2.2 it won't show up in your Android market.

I managed to get it from 'other sources' in the end. However, it does seem to crash occassionaly on start-up.

It's still in Beta; it crashed for a lot of people sadly. :lol:

Update - Installed and it does indeed work very well on the San Fran B) Off to carry on - its quickly addictive!

I said HTC Desire and downloaded it to computer as I'm getting the San Fran

Works fairly good on the San Fran, but there's a bit of graphical stutter on some levels. The MSM7227 is not quite up to the task. Close, but not quite. Still playable though.
