Guest theblueraja Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 (edited) Hi All, Bit of a strange one going on here, if i copy music across to my SDCard by mounting the phone via USB and selecting Disk Drive via Windows i find my playlist files disappearing from the music directory. Say i have the following:- Music Folder/Music music.m3u If i copy this to the Music folder on the phone via windows i can see it all being copied, its there, but when i unmount the phone and load up a music player all the .m3u files that i have just copied disappear. Stranger than that, if i copy the files i can open them no problem from the music folder, traverse up a driectory and come back in and their still there. I can even unmount the device and remount the drive and they will still be there. Its only when i try to access them via the phone they disappear (Music player, Astro etc) - WTF? Any ideas? Guest 5ulo Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 Sorry for re-opening this thread, but i have this problem on my DHD. I copied some m3u files to my sd card and after disconnecting the phone from my Ubuntu PC, those m3u files disappears. I tried to create m3u file in ES File Explorer, saved it and reopen the directory, where i saved the file.. and guess what.. the file wasn't there. What am i doing wrong? Why is this happens? Thank You for any answer.
Guest 5ulo Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 For now, i placed '.nomedia' file into the directory with m3u files and they are still there..wohooo... but it's not the victory.. i found this and it's bigger problem as it looks. http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=3692
