CHARGING INFO & PROBLEMS

1) Never change the polarity !!!

I use current A and V meter...(I demount USB connector and joined currrent meter, current on USB port - short circuit is 0.99A): WM 6.1 standart, no mod no patch

2) wall charger (5V 700mA) - have 5.3V !!!

3) USB charger (5V 500mA) - real charging 110mA, But not always, although red light is lit - the phone is no charging ... i dont no why - after disconnecting the cables A and B (green and white communications cables - only 5V) current is 110 mA always !!!

T day, i make test with WM 6.5 and usb charging path (favourite hack)

this means if we connect a charger that have diffrent amper or voltage that will not work yeah ? B)

but what must i do then for this with mini usb charger which charger have this i900 property whith mini usb port

this is "Brontvaj" cable. I used thick cables, and the current was increased from 110 mA to 490 mA,

ON cable is located a green jumper, connects the data outputs A and B from USB port, widows says:

"USB is not Recognised" cable charges the battery in all conditions, always! NO existist overheat! When I use this form, omnia have about 60 Degress with WMrouter program after hour, but stil no overheat, and never overheat thing ... its dangerous and risk to destroy charging transistor.

No overheat, is becuse ghost carging, omnia dont know that it is charging. Red light on Powe is black not RED!

For use this cable, you must unplug from USB, close jumper switch and plug to usb, omnia make sound "charging" , but no charging icon, not the red power buton, but ghost chargin to 100% after 2-3 hours, always charge.

When you open jumper - cable is in normal USB mode (flashing, modem, mass storage ...)

great work, no porblem with overheating but is dangerous, USE ON YOUR RISK

When you use this cable modification - fat cables, in flashing omnia chargin in winXP, no problem with flash failure by low battery

Measurement results WM6.5 omnia never charged with USB! (charge only when is PC in sleep mode, or in XP flashing)

When omnia have a red power buton or charging icon on USB cable, does not mean that the omnia charging.

Whewn i use favourite USB hack , charger patch - no change

If you do, do well measurements. USB cable can be bought on ebay for $ 1 and easy open jack

Measurement of the adjustable source:

4.65V - 200m

4.8V - 350m

4.9V - 470 mA

5V - 510 mA

5.5V - 520 mA

6V - 520 mA

6.3V - 520 mA

YOU NEVER CHANGE POLARITY!!! WHEN YOU DEVELOPT THIS CABLE ACT WISELY NO CHANGE POLARITY

well buddy then can u teach us how can we use this stuf above with Mini usb port to charge correctly and so hear to music at one time ?

Can i do my self build that cable with a simple pc usb cable or a transfer USB - mini Usb cable that sreally charge my omnia when i connect it to usb wall charger or pc usb then to this stuff that i shown above ? (it's via mini USB)

Please Help me coz i have this but i can work with it when i connet charger that mach it's port and connect it to Omnia i get no result on charging... help !!!

i tried N93 , Motorolla, USB and Mini usb cable , htc chargers but i still didnt get any ressult help me some one knw how it's work...

good item all in one , i need charging and modem at one time. its little problem. I use brontvaj cable to charge phone, and i go to internet by wifi, but phone its very hot

I have nokia 5800 before omnia. But nokia no charging from usb, but to nokia you plug charger, handsfree,and usb 2.at the same time. If you want charge nokia from usb>its two versions

1 modification usb cable nokia - "plug charger connector with cable to cutter usb"

2 dismantle phone (soldered leads from the female USB 5V pin to pin=plus pin from female charging connector inside phone

broblem its current from usb, about 900mA, my mother board , from one usb 4900mA, no problem for any user with newer pc motherboards
