Android Calendar - a tad basic?

My first real irritation has now been found with the android calendar.

I can't find any way of setting up custom recurrences of events - ie. every 2 weeks, or say the first sunday of the month, etc.

Any suggestions for an improved calendar app that would support such functionality?

I did it using google calender on the PC, since it syncs anyway, Not sure if you can actually do it from the phone now I think about it :S

Take a look at Jorte (http://www.appbrain.com/app/jorte/jp.co.johospace.jorte) or gemini (http://www.appbrain.com/app/gemini-calendar/com.gemini.calendar).

Ta for that - had tried Jorte, but it was .... pretty much the same as the stock calendar app. Gemini on the other hand - excellent!
