Guest AntonioPT Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Hello everybody, i need driver multi touch for Pulse after updated Android 2.1. Thanks ! My cellphone is T-Mobile Pulse. After updated Android 2.1, i can not use multi touch on my phone. After updating 2.1 you lost multitouch? IIRC, the T-Mobile Pulse (U8220) never had support for multitouch. And please, don't post like you are demanding something from this community. We all help each others for free, so please don't say you need multitouch driver like you had the right to get it from us.
Guest BigBearMDC Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 My cellphone is T-Mobile Pulse ! Actually it does not support MT. If you still want it I'll upload it for you. You'll need to know how to compile the kernel (2.6.29). Best regards, BB
Guest eckengucker1 Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 I've a similar problem. After upgrading to 2.1 my 3D mod isn't working anymore. Any solutions?

Guest lucktatait Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Sorry, I do not know about pink t-mobile pulse and the green t-mobile pulse? You can explain it for me ! My cellphone have kernel (2.6.29) !

My cellphone have kernel (2.6.29) ! Hi, very latter to reply your answer, I'm sorry. The multitouch function need the touchscreen device to support it . Frist you need to check the factory name of your phone lens. Input the *#*#2846579#*#* in dial, and enter the project menu->Veneer information query->2.Apparatus type query. Notic the first one---Touch screen type. If it is Synaptics touchscreen, the multitouch and gestures is not supported. But if not, the fuction can be supported. And the open source file we send to TMO of Britain. I am very sorry to misadvise you. Best wishes. Do you know how to compile a kernel? Otherwise you won't know what to do with the MT supporting driver  Best regards, BB
Guest lucktatait Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Do you know how to compile a kernel? Otherwise you won't know what to do with the MT supporting driver  Best regards, BB My Touch Screen type: synaptics-rmi-touchscreen
Guest eckengucker1 Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Which 3D mod? Don't you know the famous 3D mod?
Guest BigBearMDC Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Don't you know the famous 3D mod? Actually not, sorry
Guest BigBearMDC Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 My Touch Screen type: synaptics-rmi-touchscreen So MT won't work even if you flash an MT enabled kernel. Do you still want it?
Guest flip360 Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) My cellphone is T-Mobile Pulse ! LOLOLOL, mine too and it doesnt do multitouch. Not yet, anyway. Edited October 1, 2010 by flip360

Guest pouncep Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 I can't be sure if this guy's serious, his phone is listed as a Galaxy S. @lucktatait From what I know MT never worked on TMo Pulse - Huawei U8220 out of the box (or at least my box) and you'll have to go through a series of complicated procedures to even try to get it to work. Also, I would ask BigBear (nicely) and not demand him to explain stuff.
Guest eckengucker1 Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 Actually not, sorry  You should put your phone on a table and work around it. Thats the 3D mod ^^
Guest tkuli Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 So MT won't work even if you flash an MT enabled kernel. Do you still want it? Hi, I have a pulse, too, and I was able to use multitouch with one program (Imagine Multi-Touch --> a picture viewer) as long as I had Android 1.5. Now I have 2.1 with FLB 1.7 and it doesn't work anymore! I tried the *#*#2846579#*#*, but opening the 'Project Menu' results in a 'Process com.android.settings' error and FC Is there now any way to get MT back? kind regards

Further if you put two fingers in the screen the value of the variable "size" will increase. If you now move your fingers you will change the size value, and as "finger" stays at "2" the application knows that you're trying to pinch and zoom. That's pretty old actually. Best regards, BB
