Guest jsplace Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 (edited) Hi all, got the SF for my GF yesterday, rooted, MCR installed and (eventually!) adb drivers sorted successfully  Barnacle installed and working for WiFi tether etc. But.... Wired tether is not supported by ROM and when installing "Wired Tether for root users" which I use all the time on my Hero it tells me that the required functions are not enabled in my Kernel B) Has anyone had success with wired tether? How did you do it? Many thanks! And great work as usual Paul B) Edited October 2, 2010 by jsplace

Guest Al_Jolson Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 This would actually be of great interest to me too. If USB tethering worked then I could connect it to my office desktop for non proxy restricted internet access. I would certainly rather not have to install a USB wifi adapter. I'm on Paul's R4 rom. Does anyone know how to make this work?
