Name odering in contact list?

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to sort the contact list by last name - first name (default is vice versa). I know from other Android devices that there is an option in the contact list's properties, but this setting is not present on the Streak, neither with 1.6 nor 2.1.. Can it really be that there is no such option on the Streak? If that's the case, is there any other way to achieve this?
