Guest kaostheory Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 I have had my pulse for about 3 weeks. It is running FLB 1.6 with 32mb swap. I keep getting force closes and 10 - 15 seconds lag on some things. I have run "busybox free" and i have 5764k free in swap and 7964k free in ram and i am only running term and email. If i try using whatsapp or facebook or browser everything comes to a standstill... And also "top" and it seems I am using pretty much all of my memory. Is there any way i can improve the running of the phone with overclocking or settings changes? or should i buy a device with more memory i.e blade? Thanks in advance for any help  Rhys

Sou can set it via ADB (with A2SD (if you use FLB1.7c)), or with Swapper2 even if you have swap partition.

Are there any services that can be disabled in the flb rom to free up memory? I will give it a while to judge the usability. Rhys

Rhys No, the point of the FLB mod was to disable all those services for you  Just out of curiosity.. Did you wipe before flashing flb mod? If not then this is probably where all your force closes are coming from (You should only ever get them at boot or when lagging)
