Guest orangephone Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 I am a fast typer using a normazl computer/laptop keyboard. I was also using a normal phone before I purchased the android and so it had the numbers 1-9 on it. I would use dictionary to type and I was super speed in replying to texts. I also had some words of my own added to the dictionary. On the android, although I like the keyboard, I am so slow at it. I am getting faster but it's not fast enough for me and I miss dictionary. I would have loved to get a keyboard phone that has the qwerty keyboard such as the Nokia C6 that I read about (in terms of keyboard, not the rest of the phone). I don't think I'm used to touch screen. How can I achieve what I want? Otherwise, what phones at a similar price would be available that would have a keyboard like this http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/news/item/1...ouchscreen_.php but the phone should be great like the San Francisco. I don't like changes. : ( (Here, in terms of typing).

There are also a few other keyboard alternatives that use the tradition phone setups like TouchPal (Which comes pre-installed on the SF)
Guest clivec Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Yeah, if you enable touchpal, and set the keyboard to T9 style, it'll be like you are used too
