T Mobile Pulse Huawei U8220 PAYG

Hi

I want to be able to use the above handset as a modem, i have followed and installed the included software called Dial Up, but it does not work with my Lenovo G550 Win7 Lappy!

When i have the Pulse connected via usb the dial up screen states when i try to connect that "Device is not Found"

I have credit on the tmobile sim and i have data enabled!

I Also tried a uninstall then reinstall the Dial up SW but still have same problems!

Have upgraded to 2.1 a few days ago which also let use my o2 sim with i-SmartSim 2008 SIM Card Unlock Attachment.

Also i have successfully unlocked the Pulse using a i-SmartSim 2008 SIM Card Unlock Attachment so i can use my o2 contract sim, i have full functionality but still cannot use the Pulse as a Modem how could i setup for use with o2 sim? BTW i take the i-SmartSim 2008 SIM Card Unlock Attachment out of Pulse when using tmobile sim!

Someone please HELP! B)

Use bernacle wifi tether, you also have Pdanet and other applications... find them in the android market.. :lol:

Thanks guys i have tried the advice given to no avail, but i tried another app. EasyTether were by i had to install sw on pc and Pulse which installed ok, but now Windows network diagnostics reports local area connection 4 does not have a valid ip configuration - Not Fixed.

HELP!!!

It states you have to Put your device in bootloader mode - turn if off, then tap the powerbutton while holding the 'Volume Down' and 'End (Red)' keys

have tried to put pulse into bootloader mode but i cannot see any difference in the pulse starting up , i then connect to win7 via usb to pulse and double click 'install-recovery-windows.bat' from the 1.5.2-pulse-amonrarecovery file, the cmd.exe just states "waiting for device" but nothing happens!

Got it working now!

Strange, you should be getting to a screen that kind of looks like MS-dos or CMD but with a blue background, are you sure that you are pressing volume down + red key at the time the device is starting up?

And don't let go of volume down + red key until the blue screen arrives.

Yes you flash your custom rom using a micro SD in custom recovery.

And you install your custom recovery image (amonRA) using USB cable to computer.

i need a tutorial for all this...lol

So i flash the pulse in recovery mode(Blue screen on pulse) got that.

But what do i do with amonRA do i copy this from pc directly to pulse via usb?

I Know i must come across as thick, But i thought someone might of helped me out since this is the place for teccy help on mobiles etc!! well u live and learn or in this case not! :)
