Fix for "Error while searching for networks" on 2.2

Some user have problem, when the phone go to roaming network, and you cant change back to your provider. Here is a "fix": (its working on Hungarian T-Mobile network)

My situation: Im living near the borderline, and my phone always change to Slovakian T-Mobile Network and i cant change back, because the manual network change dont work.

Go to dialer.

Type *#*#4636#*#*

Go to "Phone Information"

Change the "Set preferred network type" to "WCDMA only"

Go to home screen and the network change to you home network.

So that get the list of networks working for you? It still doesn't work for me.

If the network that you want it to stop switching to isn't WCDMA I guess it would work.
