I have got some request to build CM 6.1, so this is what I have managed to do so far...

Shout out to Xian who has worked a lot on cleaning up the vendor tree :) ( I hope we can find time sometime in the future to work on a 100% stable build and get our code into official CM, but since we are both busy with school I don't know when that will be)

Thanks to everyone in the CyanogenMOD team who has made this beautiful code ;) (also google, acer qualcomm and so on :P)

I have not tested on latest leak, but I see no reason why not. LEDs should be working, please test it and write here if it works and I will add it to the list ;)

OMG! Thank you Koud! I was feeling that I'll find CM 6.1 when I opened the page. Thank you Koud. If it has good battery life this will be my daily ROM, today was very difficult to "de-flash" the MIUI Rom. Hoping you and Xian fix the missing functions soon.

A question: could you or Xian try to port the Wifi driver from the Nexus One's Froyo Kernel? This could bring to us "stock" tethering!

Step 1: DRN...(Downloading Right Now :) )

Step 2: Flashed

Step 3: Is booting but it's taking a long. I think it's a bootloop.

Step 4: Oh Yes! Booted! It takes a while at the first boot. :(

Step 5:

Linpack: circa 26.000 mflops

Ram right after boot: 75-80 Mb (A1)

Ram after killing all (with one process running): 92 Mb

Step 6:

First Considerations:

1) Camera is almost perfect, the bugs are that when you take and load a foto from the camera app it's green for a second and then normal and that the

phone rebooted when I used touch-to-focus (I was advised ;)).

2) The phone is fast fast fast...

3) Gallery is superb! It loaded 225 photos & videos all took with the internal camera in less than 5 seconds!

4) Equalizer works!

5) "Use Left Hand" option in settings, pay attention: it requires reboot! (They're genial! Super Extra LOL)

6) Volume is simply... BOOM!

7) Internal Space on Telephone: 150 Mb

8)Average RAM: 75 Mb

9)When you hit the Reboot option after pressing the power button you can choose from normal reboot, recovery or bootloader!

10)It's Cyanogen!

strange... such a low score in the linpack?

the latest leak has about 27 mflops in linpack..

What BIN you've flashed it on?

the 007 bin :)

Btw, it looks strange also to me. Can someone with another bin post his/her Linpack results?

since I still use the same kernel and libs, yes I believe so ;)

@koudelka: You could pick led-related libs from froyo leaks and so get the leds to work... correct me if I'm wrong.

Great job! i've tried this on my LiquidE and finding that:

- GPS is working on my unit. I'm able to toggle it on and off, and receive location in maps without issue.

- Touch to focus in camera app seems to be working - I've not gotten camera app to crash yet.

- Haptic feedback does not appear to be working on the home/back/search/menu keys (soft keys seem to work..)

- Reboots when attempting to use ZXing barcode scanner

- Goggles FC

It's work on my liquidE.

I flashed on 4.002.02_EMEA-GEN1_05.01.04

Now testing

One time device freezed after OC to over 1 GHz but it seems fine on 998 MHz, and really stable at 960 MHz.

Quadrant score @768 = 658 then 708 then 715 and stable

Quadrant score @960 = Reboot :) then freeze *AGAIN*

If it freeze my device again I'll back to official and wait for the most stable update.

Acer_LiquidE_4.503.00_EMEA-GEN1_05.01.03 .. I was thinking about updating to the latest - but almost everything is working for me with CM6.1. I'm having issues with Goggles mostly - and sometimes barcode reader (but maybe that's related to the camera+focus issue)
