Guest Azurren Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 So.. Yeah.. What can I say? Luckily I backed it all up a week ago, lost some pictures but no biggy I hope. Okay, from the top: My phone randomly rebooted (First time in a long long time) and just wouldn't get past "Checking micro sd for errors". A2SD went off and so did swap (So no apps, phone was really unresponsive) Restarted in recovery, toggled usb and checked the content. Windows could only render 20% of what images I had left (The rest was just grey?) Disk is "Write protected" Ran a disk check.. Nothing So, only thing for it is to reformat and see if it lives. Either I am very unlucky or SWAP kills off your SD faster than we thought :)
Guest bounty123 Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) I bought my SD with 10 years warranty. There is no 'no swap' condition in it - so I make backups and use swap bravely :) Edited October 3, 2010 by bounty123
Guest Krinyo Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 I dont think its the swap, partition only logical. Today every SD card have wearing logics, so I think its only bad luck...
Guest Azurren Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Re-formatted it and it "seems" to be working fine again.. But can I really trust it? :)
