Question about rooting..

IVe seen lots of people talkign about editing system files or deleting/replacing them when you have the phone rooted, for example on another post about editing one of the config files to disable the camera shutter sound.

WHen you change system files with root access, or edit then, are these changes then premanent even if you reset the phone to factors settings, will any changes made to root/system files get reset back to default, or will themk kind of changes be premant.

For example if i root my phone then uninstall the build in facebook app for instance, then reset my phone to factory settings will the facebook app come back, or is it gone forever?

Factory reset will remove the phone settings, installed apps (also remove their data, their cache). Maybe it will remove something more.

Factory reset only removes files, it doesn't recovery any files so it can't bring uninstalled stock apps back.

If you want they back, reflash the phone with KDZ_FW_UPD.

If you've accidentally removed some app that you wanted I'm sure someone could send you a copy of the apk from their phone so you can reinstall it.

I never rooted my phone, can someone please tell me what do i get when i will rood my phone. I know i will be administrator but WHAT CAN I DO
