How to know if Streak is locked

Hi!!

Guys, Im' new here, just unboxed my Streak!!

I bought it from t-mobile in my country, but when I power it on, I don't get t-mobile logo, just Dell logo..

I know that on =2 on the boot up there is an O2 logo....

Is it possible that my device is not Sim locked??

I don't have any other cards at me to try them

And on the box it sais:

Model: M01M

PPID: CN-0WK2PN-74261-07O-0096-A00

I guess this last part A00 is the important one.. What does that mean??

I've spent few last days reading this forum and the one at XDA for all streak info, hacking...

This is my first Android phone. :)

I'm no beginner at all this stuff, but just curious if it's locked or not? And if there are any more benefits than just using other operator?

From that description it sounds unlocked to me.

T-mobile often don't lock their phones it seems. I got my kids a cheap Acer Liquid on contract with T-mobile UK - not locked.

I rooted it yesterday, and flashed 2.1 software :)
