I think i have a faulty battery

I really dont use my phone alot while im at college, becuase get into trouble, so yea.

But i have it on charge every night, and i took it off this morning and it was on yellow as soon as i took it off and red by time it was noon.

It's only started recently, and i notice, somtimes, my phone is very hot.

anyone experienced this?

I have quite similar experiences also. I purchased my Pulse in may, and when i purchased it it's battery lasted for about 3 days, but it only lasted for about 12-14 hours in July, and does not last more now neither ;). I have to charge it also every single night. If I miss it, it will not wake me up. First i thought that some faulty process eats up my cpu 100% continuously, and have installed and reinstalled several roms (different flb roms, stock rom etc), but the problem is not in the roms. It seems that the battery is bit crappy :( Gotta get a new one, once i got time and money at the same time :)

But i did not experience high temperature with it (it gets hotter only if i use any energy demanding apps like abduction while the phone is charging)

I dont think the batterys cost much, have a look on Ebay.

Hmm, I duno why it gets hot, i just took it out of my pocket in college ealier and it felt like it was on fire :/
