Suitable Silicone Case & Screen Protector for San Francisco by Orange

Honestly speaking these kinds of TPU are more or less the same due to its nature, even the one you purchase from Case-Mate (that costs you US$13) will turn yellow sooner or later due to oxidisation.

The best way to keep these TPU in good condition is to avoid sunlight , but it just doesn't make any sense.

So yeah, that's why we thought of giving out clear cases for $0.1 so that you can replace one in a cheap price when the original one gets old.

I just got my San Francisco last Saturday and ordered the cheapest case I can get with free screen protector.

I paid 2.95 pounds + free shipping and I got it today (Tuesday) and I am very happy with it. The case fits

I bought one of sohogopher's plain black printed screen overlays from http://sofiz.co.uk.

They are approx. £1.50 each plus £2.20 to £14.20 P&P depending on the postage option you prefer. This is for a single overlay - the cost of the cheapest postage option increases if you order more than 2.

It has collected a few scratches in use over the last week or so; it has developed a crease and bubble on one edge after putting it in a pocket with a (soft) wallet; and some of the matt black printing has started to rub off in two places. But it seems relatively hardy provided you do not put it in a tight fitting jeans pocket or subject it to anything rougher. From my experience to date I would say you would need to replace it approx once every couple of months with normal usage and perhaps every few weeks with heavy usage.

Overall, it is about as good as any other screen protector I have used on various devices, but it has the big advantage of blacking out the San Francisco text, which was the point of trying it in the first place, and this protector is the only one available so far that can do that.

I also bought a couple and I have to say that I am hugely disappointed. I bought several dirt-cheap i900 screen guards on eBay the same day I bought the phone (December 2010) and the first one I applied looked brand new until I changed it for the Sofiz one (i.e. 9 months). I applied one of the Sofiz ones about 5 weeks ago and it already looks terrible - the opaque black parts of the protector are wearing away badly even though I only use my OSF lightly and keep it in a case which has a rigid PU leather flap covering the screen.

I really wouldn't recommend them and will be contacting Sofiz to ask for my money back.
