Chinese (or further, non-latin language) support of Modaco ROM

Downloaded Modaco ROM from the kitchen and having being using for a while. It sounds great! Much more stable than other ROMs (open desire, cyanogenMod v6 etc) and basically have all things I need. Thank you Paul!

One thing I still want to ask for / suggest is the language support. I found that OpenDesire / CyanogenMod has great support for Chinese, in that when I search for a contact I don't need to switch to Chinese IME to type the whole name of the contact, instead I just need to put the initials of the PinYin of Chinese characters which is great.

This is critical to people who live with non-latin language, as there is no direct way to translate the language to the a-z alphabet. Switching to IME every time is just too much pain. The application usually needs a bit more wisdom to do the correct mapping.

I suspect there is not much work needed to enable this, perhaps just to enable Chinese as one of the pre-supported locales in the ROM. (I've tested that MoreLocale2 does not enable this.) This is only a suspect and please correct me if I'm wrong. There is already a long list of locales in the ROM I got from Modaco, however no Chinese is included. Maybe also add locales like, for example zh_CN, to this as well?
