Guest dealerstealer Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Hi all, I just wanted to know what backup software you are using for your apps/games/contacts/settings? I ask because I got my replacement today and I have to start from scratch. Isn't there anything out there that works similar to itunes? Thanks.
Guest clivec Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 I use "my backup pro" It's available in the market, and you can backup just about everything you want. It has extra functionality if you're rooted too. And you can backup to the "cloud" or sd, or both if you prefer.

Guest clivec Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Well, when you had your first phone you would have set it up to backup all you're apps and whatever else, then assuming you'd kept you're SD card, you reinstall my backup pro then restore everything.
Guest clivec Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 And also, if you log in on the new one with the same Google account, you'll be able to download them from the market again anyway, if you paid for them, you won't have to pay again.
Guest ausroo Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Titanium Backup is good for backing up to SD card. I recently reflashed my Galaxy S and thus Angry Birds was gone from the new image. I reinstalled it again from Android Market fired it up and sure enough all my progress with Angry Birds wasn't there. A quick load up Titanium Backup I was able to restore the "Data" for Angry Birds and my previous progress was restored. Needs root access.
