Guest chris9181 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Thought I had read this somewhere?
Guest zomig Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Thought I had read this somewhere? You need to go to orange.co.uk/activate as your sim has a bar on it like all new sims orange send out. this will lift the bar.
Guest spoonium Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 The thing is... do you need to activate your sim to activate your phone, or is it only if you actually want to use the Orange sim card (I assume the latter, but I'm not 100% positive on that).
Guest dav_dako Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 My orange sim hasn't been anywhere near my San Fran and everything works fine
Guest ken218 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 at the begining, the new orange sim card didn't even work in my SF. But a different sim worked in the phone. strange...

It may have had a transit lock on it like mine did. It seems that Orange block the phone on their network until the transit lock removed. I'm not sure how it is done normally but I had to have Orange remove it for me.
