Hey Guys,

I've received the SF (Thanks a lot flash2004, i owe you a huge :) ), and started testing. I've found an app called LED tester, and it seems we have a red, orange, green led. Thats nice, isnt it? I think it lights red when charging, flashes green on a message (skype, sms, mail, etc), didnt see orange yet.

Just wanted to share.

The LED isn't bright ... if it notifies a message, I haven't noticed it. Screen lights up for a few seconds if sleeping, but the lack of overt attention-getting for 'something-happened-that-you-haven't dealt-with' seems like an irritating weakness to me. Hopefully the sort of thing that can be fixed in software.

It shows red while charging, turning (pale) green when 90% level is reached. (page 37)

It shows red when the battery is drained down to 5% or less. (There was an on-screen warning at 15% IIRC)

But I've got no idea at all what the random flashing red during use is supposed to indicate.

Got it --flashing red means no network signal !

I've been getting it when using wifi and hadn't noticed the signal strength indication!

There is also WHITE backlighting of the home, menu and back buttons. (Only when the screen is on and the SF thinks its "dark" ...)

There's no backlighting of the power key. Ever.

Pity as its not super-easy to find and operate in the dark by touch alone ... I think that allowing sufficient pressure on the power/sleep/wake button might be a REAL nuisance for (skin) case designs.
