Guest gilrad Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Just thought I would like to share my observations in case anybody else experienced a similar situation. So earlier today I sat down to about an hour with of Rock player-fueled goodness, and shortly after hopped on the net to check my news/forums. According to my battery temps, I was pushing about 35 degrees C, which probably equates to something higher as the source of the heat was the processor, not the battery. Anyway I was getting really frustrated at the glacial speeds I was getting. It was behaving the same way it does when there is too little signal (occasionally the upload arrow blinks, but the download arrow is motionless), but I had full bars. Transfer came in bursts--I got a 480kbps rating on mobilespeedtest.com, but that was after about three minutes of waiting for it to connect. So I set it down for 30 minutes until it was not so hot, picked it up again, and it works flawless again. It looks like Streaks aren't too happy when they get hot.
