Apps2sd Error

Hello guys tried typing the coding in the command window for apps2sd and got an error

* daemon not running. starting it now *

ADB server didn't ACK

* failed to start daemon *

error: cannot connect to daemon

So i ended up deleting the multiple copies of sdk i had on my hdd so i only had one in C:/

now i get a new problem

it saying adb shell is not recognise as an external or internal command

Im probably just a noob :) so can anyone help me out
