Flashing Led's on 1.6MoDaCo

Hey everybody, been reading and researching the led problem. I believe it happened somewhere around after I rooted my phone and and b4 recovery console. Phone works fine but the Led's are making me sick!!!! I came across a guide on how a user fixed this, however this was with a UK O2 streak, and now that mine is installed to modaco custom rom with 02 splash screen, can I use this guide?? What is the best way to remove the flashing led's with 4399 MODACO custom ROM?? Should I grab the (2.1 ROM WIP) and install it via pointing to it from the clockwork MOD menu. I was thinking installing the more current ROM, might remove the problem but I dont want to ASSume myself. I recall a post saying that it might be because i rooted with superboot (for me Uandroot did not work). I appreciate your guys work, it really blows my mind the stuff you do.

ok got 2.1 on my device FLASHING home and menu led's are gone... Thanks inadvance guys. If only I can figure out why i cant sync gmail anymore lolz

sync and everything is now working.. I noticed that if you have a wifi signal available, one must manually connect to it, especially when data signal is low. As i recall 1.6 always connected me easier, but it could be my imagination.
