How to use Lg utils to update to 2.1 for lg gt540

I am not sure how to update using KDZ flasher coz it keeps hanging on me once i press the ????????????? button. how to do pls help!!! thanks

EDIT: I know how to flash the firmware using Lg utils but it wont get past the 40% mark. Pls help tks.

When using KDZ FLASHER IT WILL take a while to process it all when it's done it should reboot your phone then reboot it again that's what happened to mine.
