Guest toadvox Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 Anybody know how to get IA Album to record more than a couple of seconds of Video at a high frame rate!?!? Surely you must ba able to do it somehow, otherwise whats the point in putting in a nice big SD card! :?:
Guest Pidder Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 I think the camera port is to slow for high framerates at all (i thought of 4-5 frames/s) but not more. Did you manage to catch video in higher framerates??? The big sd card is for games, other apps, videos, mp3s...
Guest yatpeak Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 I don't think the camera is fast enough, it has nothing to do with the amount of storage you have. Wyatt
Guest toadvox Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 IA Album allows me to select a frame rate from 3 upto 20!! It also allows you to select the size, audio, flicker rate etc. I just dont understand why when I've got a big SD card, it wont allow me to shoot longer at the higher rates.
Guest kevlar Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 I read somewhere a reply from the programmers, ia album is capable of 20fps, but the spv isn't as the connection to the phone isn't fast enough. Why they left the option in is anyones guess. Kevlar
Guest bobroberts Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 cos they're writing this software for the smartphone platform not the SPV. the fact that the SPV is the only smartphone is incidental. future smartphones might have very fast data transfer rates and be able to handle video properly... bobroberts
