Guest ri4z Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 hotukdeals lurker here... First I must thank Paul and co for the excellent work you're doing.. really loving my Blade and even more thanks to you. I've got clockworkmod working and r3 custom rom. All's working perfectly, well almost... Whenever I try to open an image in an email attachment from the stock email app (using my yahoo email add), I get the Gallery launching with the following error: The application Gallery (process.com.cooliris.media) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Everytime I force close it, it the error message opens again in a loop. I need to restart the phone to get out of it. Any ideas on what is causing it and advice on fixing it? R

R I get the same error with r3, when trying to view attachments in my gmail account using the stock mail app. To end the loop I need to force close it, and quickly before the error pops up again, I press the home button. From there I use ATK to kill the mail and gallery apps.
Guest the flook Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 i too had this problem, i used ubuntu to copy my rom across with the sd card mounted, each time the gallery crashed in a loop and had to take the battery out and reboot that way, until i transferred the rom over using swiftftp to my sd card, since then no more crashes or endless loops, might just be a coincidence.
Guest ri4z Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Ended up using k-9 email app... so much better than the stock!
