Guest rob_52001 Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Hi. Received my San Francisco today, unlocked but not flashed yet. Ive made a new folder on home screen and dragged all my games into it but they are still on the menu page as well. How can i delete them from here? Tried dragging them to the bin but they are still there. Help!! Apart from this all good so far. My 1st android so will probably be back with more questions later. Thanks Rob
Guest Afrodude Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Are you using the default (Orange-fied) launcher?

Guest acolwill Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 They don't get removed from the app draw. A live folder is simply a set of shortcuts for pretty much anything on the phone.

Anyway to put games etc together in a folder on the icon screen (not the home page) Also, struggling to get the sat nav working. Will it only work with orange sim? Thanks
Guest acolwill Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 (edited) You'll get used to it :) Create the folder. Click on it to open. Long press on the folder bar at the top to rename it. Open the app draw. Long press to create a shortcut of the app you want Drag the new shortcut onto the new folder you just created. Done. As for GPS. Menu -> Settings -> Location Tick use wireless, Use GPS, and Use assisted GPS Edited October 8, 2010 by acolwill

When you have you get voice guided sat nav. It downloads your route in advance so there is a small data charge which is better than a subscription to orange maps.
