Guest psauer Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 spv would be a very nice phone....it's realy what i wanted...but as you can read in many topics.it's not reliable...i did the danish update, some things are much better but the spv is still full of bugs. i realy hate waiting, waiting for some news or a release date for a update that would maks a giant leap for the spv to work much more reliable, you can't find any official statements about a new update and what'll it be ...i got the swiss-edition and i hate also that stuff that you should'nt load the danish update on your phone if you are not in danmark...it's the same as i would have to buy a swiss pc and just cou'd install a swissgerman windows....the update works really well....hey orange what's going on....

I would even refuse to update if decertification would be affected. So i'm satisfied with my swiss spv at the moment (there still are bugs, but they are all minor!)

But ey i'm a student and i'm seldom longer than a night away from home (and if i am - i can carry the charger with me) what about to scrolling through menus Scrolling though menus is pretty fast on my device! Have you enough free memory on your phone? Have you the sptaskmanager to shut down unused apps? Have you done the general speedup tips mentioned in this forum? what about picture-handlingPicture handling is crap i know, but with the IA app it's lots smarter, because you have a pretty album for your photos (i know this should have been included from the beginning) what about gprs I got gprs problems in the first two weeks and on other networks. But nowadays it seems to work at almost all the times i try (i think they know now how much i use it) so they put me on a vip line :)
