Help needed rooting official 2.1 installed

I am completely new to all this and I need help rooting my pulse.

I currently have official t-mobile 2.1 installed.

How do i root this?

I also want to run apps of my SD card, and need help setting this up.

I have searched through these forums and the different releases are confusing. could someone please direct me in the right path.

Use FLB-Mod 1.

Has A2SD, SWAP and all you'll need. Also read the stuck thread up the top called "Ultimate Pulse Owners Guide"

Is there any issues with FLB-Mod 1?

Use FLB 1.6

I think thats the best one, and up to date, Not the newest,but im not having no problems with it

is there a video guide on how to install the custom rom...also do i need to delete the dload folder on my memory card?
