PLZ Help!!

I text alot and want a better keyboard.

I downloaded swype from a chinese website. The apk was all good and it installed, but i don't know how to open swype.

i haven't got swype, but to change keyboard, try opening a text message to reply to, click the cog down the bottom of the page and then keypad types would be my guess

And i saw on some chinese formun that swype works perfectly on gt540. :)

It's crap..the chinese download seems to list chinese words, as you can pick English, but Chinese is stuck as a language too.

It's on the market, no need to download from their site.

Try SlideIT keyboard..far better..

I had the demo installed, quite happy with it. However, when demo finished, I found I missed it. I've been trying out other free keyboards but nothing to recommend yet.

Swype isn't on the Market. I would have liked to try it.

When youve installed swype go to

Menu -> Settings -> Language & Keyboard

Check the skype box then select Swype settings and then tutorial it will then set everything for you

Another one using the slideit keyboard - works perfectly and adds languages not supported by your phone. In my case (with the Baltic ROM) I couldn't install Greek successfully even using the Morelocale app. SlideIt provides for adding second and third languages and it works.

I am still on the demo period so I expect it will stop working soon and I will have to pay for it. Ah well $8 isnt going to break the bank.

Hello! I'm Chinses. :)

Download the file,

Just change the extension to .apk

then, you can install it on your gr540, have fun! :)
