Guest tonemgub1 Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 I have a choice between both phones, which one is better? I know G1 has froyo 2.0, and SF should be getting it soon. If SF had froyo would it outperform G1? Also, I mainly want to use the device for music and videos.
Guest Rem1x Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Sit back and think about what you just asked there. (spoiler: the SF wins hands down :))

Guest Rem1x Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Lol, I'm a noob at just about everything phones. Please say why! RAM:192MB vs 460MB~ CPU: Faster/Newer Screen: So much nicer then the G1, higher res, sharper, OLED ROM: More space for apps. Any thing else?

Guest Andysan Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Oh wow, thanks :] Guess that answers my question! Ive just gone from a G1 (1.6 in the UK, 2.x only with Cyanogen mod) to a 'Frisco and theres no contest. Everything is miles better/faster with the exception of the lack of a keyboard which I miss a little.
Guest hillmie87 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 I'd go for G1 for the keyboard, but for the specs of SF, i dont mind not having the physical keyboard at all. SF wins for me, for being a better spec-ed phone at an incredibly cheap price. Also, once the SF community grow bigger, we'll definitely see a lot of improvements of San Francisco. But u gonna have to wait for a bit though.
