Guest mobile579 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Can anyone suggest where it is best to start if I want to make the phone GUI look better? For example http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/reviews/201...or-android.ars/ contains a review of LauncherPro which I am thinking of buying/trying does LauncerPro come with some themes you can easily apply? e.g. the screenshots in the review show a "nice" theme they are much brighter than the Orange black screen - the icons are bigger etc? I was thinking of giving Beautiful Widgets a try but put off by reading some comments on some Android sites on some features not working http://www.appbrain.com/app/beautiful-widg...eautifulwidgets Is using Beautiful Widgets what I am looking for? Is anyone using it on a San Francisco? Is there anything better? TIA
Guest Rem1x Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 *cough* http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...ork-factory-v2/ *cough* Uh, just give Beautiful Widgets a try, you can refund it if you don't like it! LauncherPro is free, unless you want the Plus widgets, and it's the fastest launcher IMO :) Easy to theme the icons/dock too!
Guest UncleFista Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 (edited) I prefer "Fancy Widget" over "Beautiful Widgets" it looks a bit more polished to my eyes, when I compared the two on the same screen there was no comparison. :) Edited October 10, 2010 by UncleFista
Guest GraviticVortex Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 As far as i know Fancy Widget only has (overused) HTC style clock/weather while Beautiful Widgets has lots of other useful widgets too...
