Launcher Pro on Froyo

Has anyone been able to make LauncherPro work as default launcher with the froyo build. I like ADW launcher, but I like LauncherPro a bit more. Basically I go to home switch, click launcherpro, hit set as default, launch it, seems to work fine, but as soon as I hit the home button it just goes back to ADW, even though I set launcherpro as default. When I go into home switcher again, ADW is back as defaul. Anyone else have the problem or know how to fix it?

yea just delete adw from system/apps and then reboot bobs your uncle.

Had the same problem but also noticed a problem with Pure Messenger Widget running correctly in Launcherpro. The messages would disappear when rotating to landscape and not return quick when going back to portrait. Just seemed buggy and laggy with 2.2.

I am using LauncherPro without problems and without having had to delete ADW.

Try re-installing LauncherPro.

Thanks for the tip. I reinstalled adw from that directory (rather than delete) and end result was that home switcher is working normal and LauncherPro is working well again.
