Igo sells Android app only For OEM's.

The Igo branded Android version is 480x320pix only that why it shows up on qarter of the screen

Only WVGA version of Igo that i know is OEM Motonav for Motorola.

It is not available for other phones.

I run iGO on my SF fine in full screen mode.

I had to replace the data.gro file on mine to enable full screen. I found an 800x480 version on the net, and used root explorer to replace the file in /data/data/com.navngo.igo.javaclient

Works a treat!

It is available, because the community rebuilt android versions with appropriate data.gro files from WM versions. So in fact now you have 3 iGo versions - 320x240, 480x320, 800x480. Just google it and you'll find the appropriate version.

I had the 480x320 version installed accidentally, and now i can't get it to install. Don't actually know what the problem is, i have erased everything in /data/data with the name com.navngo.igo.javaclient, and also removed the signature from packages.xml, and had no success.

Put the one you downloaded on the SD card. Browse to it in root explorer. Long press and 'Copy'

Now browse to the /data/data/....... directory as above and long press 'Paste'

I'm typing this from memory so it might be slightly different, but you get the idea.

You'll need to be in RW mode

Just found a way to install igo on my blade. When i uninstalled the 320x480 version, the package signature was not erased. So i opened /data/system/packages.xml and edited out everything with the word navngo, of course, appropriately following the xml tags. Saved the file, pushed it onto the phone, ran chmod and chown commands (chmod 664 packages.xml, chown 1000:1000 packages.xml), rebooted, and voila B)

I have igo motonav (800x480 full screen with portrait/landscape) tested and working on SF (Froyo) , I can make a package with maps and upload it somewhere if anyone wants it???

Why would you use Motonav, when we've got a working version of iGo 480x800 fulscreen with portrait/landscape? And yes, there is a difference, Motonav is based on iGo 8, iGo MyWay for Android is version 8.3, so it has a few more features.

It didn't work for me at first. I downloaded a couple of alternatives and tried those until one eventually worked.
