Baseband read "unknown" on Froyo

I update my US Beta to Froyo using DJ Steve's instructions and even used the QDL Tool to flash the baseband and it gave me the green complete indication. When rebooted, I still only get airplane mode and no wireless option. I have the update-new.zip installed etc with everything else working properly including the camera except the wireless radio for GSM/WCDMA. I have done this multiple times coming from 2.1 but it is still not working for me.

Any help would be appreciated as I constantly reading all the sites.

PS, can we also get a Ad-Hoc support with 2.2 as well.

With the update-new.zip you don't need to flash the baseband with QDL. Are you getting signal before you do it?

Fixed it. Just downgraded to O2's 2.1 and baseband showed up then reinstalled 2.2 and got it working. Just need to see if the WiFi will pck up Ad-Hoc connections soon on 2.2.
