Hi All (Noob Alert),

Sorry this may sound like a silly Q but regarding Ap2SD how do you setup the SD card in Windows XP?

I ask as everywhere I have looked A Linux environment is required.

Phone is rooted, R3 and Clockworked..

Thanks

James

Hi James

I looked for this too and decided it was just as easy to use a GPareted Live CD GParted Live CD boot to that. It takes a short while to boot, but seems straightforward to use. I am not a Linux type either.

Do I boot/put this on my Phone or SD card or is it for WinXp? Just the IMG file extension has thrown me (Yeah I noob to this hehe)

Thanks for the help :)

I've just done this using a Fedora live boot stick, 15.5gb Fat32 volume with a 512mb ext2 on the end as per Paul's recommendation. Took a while for the phone to stabilise after reapplying an r3 kitchen baked ROM with A2SD, was slow as hell for about 10-15 minutes. Pleasantly surprised to see all my apps there after the update (presuming this is normal?)

The problem I've got now is that my task manager crashes when I check resources, and all my applications running in tasks are shown as "unknown" under their descriptions. Permissions problem? Paul/Flib, help!

edit - I cannot ls my /system/sd - is this normal?
