Is Gmail using TouchPal Cootek keyboard for you on always the standard SF one?

I have set my keyboard to use Touchpal (Cootek in both Portrait/Landscape) but when I go into the Gmail applet it displays the standard SF keyboard - is anyone else having the same problem?

Does anyone using the HTC IME (or other keyboard addon) have the same problem with Gmail?

No. It will use whatever you have selected to be the default input method. Try holding your finger down on a text entry box and selecting touchpal.

Weird. Mine is definitely using the standard SF keyboard when it shouldn't be. When I press and hold on the "To" box of Compose the green mark is next to Touchpal?

Any ideas what I should do to try to fix? I am stick on stock Orange firmware.
