Headphones problem/recommendation?

I got my SF today, all seems fine apart from one flaw, with one of my pairs of headphones (sennheiser mx550) there is audible hiss and what I can best describe as 'electronic interference), these headphones are also surprisingly loud in it (I'd heard that android phones in general are quiet)

however, with my px100 set, the sound was great. whilst the obvious answer is USE THE PX100 THEN!!, they arent earbuds and I'd really like some earbuds for out and about,

has anyone had the same issue as me and can anyone recommend buds they've had good sound from?

similar situation here.

Using iphone headphones it sounds awful, like the voice in the song is very far away and echoed. But when using other big headphones it sounds perfect.

btw it all sounds perfect with no headphones on loud speaker.

Do you people realise that there is a "Search" facility on this forum?
