Tethering on 2.2 beta

I know the inbuilt tether doesn't work properly and nor does barnacle - but someone posted somewhere one that does work with froyo - but despite checking this and my other regular forum hangouts I can't find it.

Anyone remember seeing the info?

I got Barnacle working yesterday. Took me a few attempts mind, but my friend's MacBook Pro connected to it and used it without issue. The built in one acted strangely though.

I managed to track down the one that works:

I searched on wireless tether root in the market and found it - but I'll give barnacle another go.
